Meet Our Team

Elders / Pastors

 

All major decisions and policy direction are made by the Elders of the Church who serve in a role established in the New Testament for the leadership of local churches. All Elders are actively involved in ministry and will usually be leading a Community Group.

Mark Glenn

Lead Pastor

Mark has been married to Katherine for the entirety of this century and have three children. God made it clear to the Glenn’s that he wanted them to plant a church in the Highlands while spending three months as part of The Fields in Carlsbad, CA. With the blessing of The Fields Church Carlsbad and its elders the Glenn’s returned home and The Fields Church - Australia started in their living room during March 2011.

Mark has balanced his responsibilities at The Fields through the years between running his own building design business, serving Acts 29 in numerous roles including: Regas the Assessment Co-ordinator for Acts 29 in Australia & New Zealand also serving on the leadership on the Rural Collective.

Matt Austin

Elder

Matthew is married to Karen and they have three beautiful girls. Two of whom are married and he also has one granddaughter. The entire family is extremely active and enjoy a number of activities from soccer to netball right through to ballet.

Matthew is a practicing physiotherapist who has been running is own practice in the Southern Highlands for over 16 years. He loves his work especially meeting people that he would otherwise not get the chance to know.

The Austin family has been a part of The Fields Church – Australia since it’s beginning in 2011, and are keen to see people come to know Jesus Christ in their local community.

Luke Trenfield

Elder

Luke is married to Rachel and they have one daughter who brings them so much joy. The Trenfields have been part of The Fields since 2021 after moving to the Southern Highlands in 2020. Rachel is a passionate and gifted member of the worship team and Luke has served as an elder since the start of 2023. 

Luke enjoys teaching in the high school at Southern Highlands Christian School after a career change from construction, and Rachel is loving a season as a stay at home mum. 

They are passionate about seeing people plugged in to a rich community doing life deeply together.

Ministry Leaders

Working alongside the Lead Pastor is a team who have various roles and responsibilities within the life of the church to lead, train and equip people for ministry. 

Kerry Graham

Operations

Kerry has been married to Steve since January 2000 - yes that is a while ago. They have three adult children. Kerry is a master of all that she turns her hands to and has been able to serve The Fields in many, many ways over the years. In that she is extremly gifted and willing to hand on things to others. Kerry started with leading our music ministry and continues to oversee our childrens discipleship along with the operations of the church. 

Kerry & Steve show great hospitality and love to share their lives with others.

Harrison Graham

Music

Harrison was only 8 years old when The Fields Church started and has been a part of the church, along with his family, ever since, actively serving for many of those years. He has been playing guitar since he was 5 years old and doing vocals since 2017. He has recently completed a Mathematics degree at university and is looking forward to what the future will bring in that area. He has been performing live for many years around the Southern Highlands both as a solo performer and with his band.

Harrison has recently stepped up to lead the Music Team at The Fields - we look forward to seeing where his gifts and love for God and His Church will take him in this role.

Joe Irving

Ministry Apprentice

Joe grew up and went to school locally. He then went on to complete his cabinet making trade. He is married to his high school sweet heart Eloise and they have recently welcomed their first child, the beautiful Eden. Joe now works with the Capernwray team in Moss Vale.

Joe has a passion for people to come to know Jesus and after being a part of The Fields for a few years now is exploring where God may have him in the future. Joe is commencing further studies while working and applying what he is learning at The Fields.
